The Changdeokgung Moonlight Tour, held at Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a representative palace utilization content that has maintained its popularity for 17 years, starting with a pilot operation in 2010. The serene night view of Changdeokgung Palace, its pavilions filled with stories, and the harmonious landscaping to match—all of which can only be appreciated through the Changdeokgung Moonlight Tour program—are enhanced by the addition of commentary from professional guides and traditional art performances, making the uniqueness of the tour shine even brighter. The Changdeokgung Moonlight Tour starts at Geumhomun Gate and passes through Jinseonmun Gate, Injeongjeon Hall, Heejeongdang Hall, Nakseonjae Pavilion, and Sangnyeongjeong Pavilion, allowing visitors to explore the rear garden area, which is not easily accessible on a regular basis, including Buyongji Pond, Aeryeonjeong Pavilion, Yeongyeongdang Pavilion, and the forest paths.
