Songpa-gu Lake Cherry Blossom Festival

The Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is held every spring at Seokchon Lake in Songpa-gu, Seoul. When over 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees along the lake are in full bloom, a spectacular scene unfolds as a cherry blossom tunnel is formed. During the festival, various programs are operated, including the opening ceremony, busking performances, promotional booths, experience booths, a flea market, food trucks, and a cherry blossom full-bloom concert. Visitors can also capture special moments in photos at photo zones set up throughout the walking paths. As the festival allows visitors to admire the radiant cherry blossoms of spring during the day and the pure white blossoms illuminated by night lights in the evening, it is Songpa-gu's representative cherry blossom festival where couples, families, and friends can create wonderful memories together.
