Pyeongchang Summer Festival

The Pyeongchang Dewi Sanyang Festival is Gangwon-do's representative summer festival. Located in Daehwa-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, Ttamtti Park is the venue for the festival, where cool spring water flows, maintaining a temperature of 10°C year-round. The festival offers dynamic water activities and a variety of programs to ensure visitors enjoy a cool summer. Amenities include a refreshing water fight between the Ttamtti Ghost, who sprays heat away at people, and the Gwangcheon Spirit, who protects from the heat; the Dream Daehwa Campsite, where visitors can enjoy cool summer nights; large water cannons spraying cool streams of water; and the region's signature food, Makguksu, to satisfy hunger after water play.
