Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour

The ‘Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour,’ where visitors can experience the history of Gwangju and the national heritage of Dong-gu—the center of Gwangju’s history—under the moonlight, is a nighttime national heritage themed tourism festival that links local national heritage with surrounding cultural facilities to provide opportunities for diverse historical and cultural experiences. Supported by the National Heritage Administration to spread the value of national heritage and revitalize local tourism, Gwangju Dong-gu has been promoting this project since 2017, marking its 10th anniversary this year. Composed of eight elements—nightscapes, history tours, experiences, exhibitions, performances, food, markets, and accommodations—the Gwangju National Heritage Night Tour allows visitors to enjoy Dong-gu’s national heritage in a diverse manner.
