Bogoksangol Village, where the event is held, is the largest natural habitat for mountain cherry blossoms in Korea. It is a place where vibrant cherry blossoms create a spectacular sight along a vast mountain slope spanning approximately 10 million square meters. In spring, the entire mountain is dyed in light pink, presenting visitors with a beautiful spring landscape. This is a pollution-free, pristine area where not only mountain cherry blossoms but also various other spring flowers—such as dogwood, bottlebrush, spirea, azaleas, and ginger trees—grow naturally and compete to bloom. Additionally, with countless unnamed wildflowers blooming charmingly, the footpath connecting the ‘Boineyo-gil’ (Seeing Path) to the ‘Jajinbaengi-gil’ (Walking Path) serves as a walking trail where visitors can stroll slowly, as if conversing with the flowers, and fully experience the atmosphere of nature.
