Wanju Daedunsan Festival

Held under the slogan “Sweat for Challenge, Wind for Healing,” the 2026 Wanju Daedunsan Festival is an outdoor-focused event where visitors can experience both challenge and rest in nature, showcasing a diverse range of programs set against the backdrop of Daedunsan Mountain. The core program of this festival, Daedunsan Backpacking, consists of the 2-night, 3-day "Wanju 9 Scenic Spots Long-Distance Trail," the 1-night, 2-day "Daedunsan Loop Backpacking," and the "Milky Way Trail Trekking," offering participants both a sense of accomplishment from the challenge and a time of deep healing. In addition, exhibition and sales booths for outdoor and camping equipment will be operated to allow visitors interested in backpacking and camping to experience various brands and products firsthand and obtain information. Furthermore, programs featuring popular creators in the hiking and backpacking fields have been organized to allow visitors to enjoy outdoor culture in a more intimate and lively way. Performances by invited singers and cultural and artistic events featuring local artists will add to the festive excitement, presenting a stage where generations harmonize. Additionally, food booths and hands-on programs highlighting local characteristics will provide visitors with a wealth of things to enjoy and see.
