Chungju Dive Festival

The Chungju Dive Festival is a large-scale festival representing Chungju City. Held in the area surrounding the Chungju Sports Complex, the event was ultimately selected this year as a local government event linked to the Comprehensive Hallyu Event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and is being conducted as the first linked festival aimed at promoting K-Hallyu to the outside world. This festival is structured by combining diverse cultural content from across the country with attractive local resources unique to Chungju. It offers a variety of programs designed to allow tourists visiting the festival grounds to fully immerse themselves in Chungju's unique values and charms. Furthermore, the focus is on providing visitors with a differentiated experience by featuring a wide range of attractions with novel sensibilities unfamiliar to the general public, as well as interactive activities. Immersive content utilizing distinctive local resources creates an environment where tourists can become active participants in the festival, thereby serving as an opportunity to widely publicize Chungju's potential appeal nationwide and enhance the value of the local brand.
