Golcheoreum Cherry Blossom Festival

Located in Seonheul 2-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju, Golche Oreum is a hidden cherry blossom spot that has been nurtured with care by local residents for over 20 years. True to its name, which was given because the shape of the oreum resembles a 'golche' (a basket used for holding grain), the place exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere. Every spring, Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom profusely along the low ridges, creating a spectacular scene where the entire oreum is covered in a cloud of light pink. The Golche Oreum Cherry Blossom Festival is organized to share this natural beauty with neighbors. The festival will take place from April 4 to 5, 2026. During the festival, visitors can enjoy walking paths through cherry blossom tunnels, as well as sweet musical performances that delight the eyes and ears, and a food market filled with the village's generous hospitality. Thanks to the gentle walking trails that anyone of any age can comfortably climb, it is the perfect place to fully enjoy the excitement of spring with family and loved ones.
