Yeongnangho Cherry Blossom Festival

The 3rd 2026 Yeongnangho Cherry Blossom Festival is a representative regional spring festival held for two days from April 11 to 12, 2026, at the Yeongnangho Lawn Plaza and the surrounding lake area in Sokcho, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. The event is set against the backdrop of unrivaled natural scenery, featuring tunnels of fully bloomed cherry blossoms along the Yeongnangho Lake Trail in Sokcho. Key programs include a cherry blossom walk along the 8km trail, yoga in nature, and busking performances. Additionally, approximately 40 food stalls and flea market vendors will be in operation to promote the revitalization of local content businesses through the participation of local small merchants. At night, a cherry blossom lighting tunnel will be created to provide beautiful scenery both day and night, with the ultimate goal of the festival to offer visitors a perfect spring break from their daily lives.
