Hallasan Clean Bracken Festival

The Hallasan Clean Bracken Festival is a regional festival marking its 30th anniversary, held for two days from April 18 to April 19, 2026. The opening ceremony will take place on April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The festival venue is the Bracken Festival Grounds located at 1622-5, Hannam-ri, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The main programs consist of a bracken picking experience, a "Find the Golden Bracken!" game, and demonstrations of boiling and drying bracken. The participatory experience programs include a children's mini cultivator ride, making bracken round sticks, bracken face painting, and making bracken postcards. Side events include the Bracken Children's Challenge, the Bracken Youth Festival (singing and dancing), and senior citizen Tuho and Yutnori competitions. In addition, it is a family-participation program featuring bubble experiences and kite-flying performances. This festival is a local cultural event centered on bracken, a regional specialty, combining hands-on activities and performances that allow people of all generations to participate together.
